Also sometimes referred to as snap lock boxes, these 1-2-3 bottom boxes offer a higher level of security than tuck end boxes. Although these boxes do require a little more time to assemble than auto-bottom boxes, the additional level of security makes them ideal for many products. The bottom flaps on these 1-2-3 boxes interlock to complete closure. You may also add tabs to the bottom flap to obtain greater bottom strength. A locked-in position holds the extended top flap securely in place. Shore locks or a friction fit can be used on the tucks to obtain even greater security.
